My latest article
Mihai can’t choose a car, a vacation, or a pair of jeans without making a spreadsheet. His decisions take forever, even for low-stakes choices. And every time he has to make a choice, he feels the weight of the world on his shoulders, because every choice has to be perfect.
Alex navigates decisions like a slalom champion weaving through gates. He seems to know the right path in advance and picks it smiling, in an instant. Sometimes, if he looked back, he’d see that he didn’t necessarily choose the best solution. Lucky for him, he doesn’t look back. Read more…
Question of the month
What is your decision style?
Do you search (sometimes a bit too much) for the perfect solution, or do you choose (fast) the first option that is good enough? Discover your decision profile. Take the test…

Work with me
I work with executives and boards to structure difficult choices, align stakeholders, and turn strategic debate into clear decisions.
Interactive learning experiences in decision-making, strategic thinking, problem solving, and human judgment in the age of AI.
Research-grounded, practical, and engaging keynotes that make audiences think. And sometimes even laugh.
about me
Hi, I’m Radu. Curious by profession, restless by nature.
I study how managers think, decide, unlearn, and change. I then translate those findings into practical experiences which help executives make better decisions.
After leading projects across several industries, I now serve as Associate Dean at BISM – Bucharest International School of Management, and I hold academic affiliations at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and Maastricht University.
I am the author of three books, published in Germany, the Netherlands, and Romania, and I write regularly for Psychology Today and Revista Biz. My podcast with MindArchitect, Decizii cu Cap, brings decision science to a wider audience.
I taught 3,000+ managers face-to-face, in 3 countries, and 30,000+ international students online.
Based on what I teach Executive MBAs, I founded Sens, a suite of digital tools for strategic decision-making (you can find them in the Decision Tools section).
My core belief is that the fastest way to better decisions is asking better questions.

Beyond the desk
Thinking is an endurance sport. When I’m not teaching, writing, researching, or prototyping another tool, you’ll often find me training for a marathon (in which, for fun, I run wearing Mickey ears) or a triathlon, playing tennis, skiing, sailing, or investing in Romanian tech founders with an interesting problem to solve.
